We are located on a large property near Ancaster, Ontario. We have been breeding CKC registered Vizslas for over 35 years. Our dogs are raised in our home with our young family. We also offer a number of training services for hunting dogs.

Onpoint kennels was established by John Reid in 1984. John’s passion has always been to bring out the best in the purebred Vizsla. He established a first in class breeding program through his expertise in field and upland training un combination with his dedication to only using the best dogs for breeding. Onpoint’s record of accomplishment is a testament to the success of the breeding program and training. The top priorities of Onpoint have always been intelligence and trainability and bred to standard healthy dogs that have what it takes in body and mind to compete at the highest levels across North America. Here are some of our achievements over the last 35 years:

 

• No less than 5 National field Champions

• Over 15 AKC/CKC Show Champions

• Multiple Senior and Master level AKC/CKC Hunt Tested dogs

• AKC/CKC Agility & Obedience Trial Champions

• Look for us competing in NSTRA trials and new for 2020 we plan on returning to NAVHDA sanctioned tests

Onpoint Vizslas is now run in partnership with Kevin. John is still overseeing our breeding program; we depend on his expertise to further develop the program to ensure the continuation of bettering the breed and producing the best Vizslas possible. Our ultimate goal is to be competitive in the field, while also having our Vizslas be a pleasure to have in the home with our family and our Onpoint puppy families as well. In order to attain this goal health and temperament are our main priorities.
