John:
Our household is relatively back to normal since our recent litter of pups are all settled in their new homes and doing well. Considering the success we have had to date with Bree and Ranger (2 pups from our first litter) with Puppy Group placements and Group Placements in the show ring, and the natural ability they have for the field, we are sure the owners of this litter will be as pleased as the owners of the first Lil/Thorn whelps are.We thought we would take this opportunity to thank you for allowing us to use Thorn for breeding to Lil, taking such good care of Lil while she was with you and also for the great pup you sold us in Romeo. You have really allowed us to put our kennel on the map. Thinking back to the first time we toured your kennel in search of a stud for Lil, we will always remember the cleanliness of your runs and buildings. What blew us away was the great condition all your dogs were in and how well socialized they were! Please feel free to use us as references for any future clients you may have. John,
I would just like to thank you for the excellent care that you have taken of my dogs over the last while. All three are happy and ready to hunt ... It says a lot about your kennel when they leave the field, that they are happy to head back to the kennel ... the direct customer says it all, and I've never known a dog to fake it! On top of that they all seem to be in fantastic condition and ready to run 45 minutes in front of a horse with out the blink of an eye. And continue to be the happy little V's they always were - looking to dole out the love when they leave the field. Thanks so much.

Hi Kim,
Just a quick message to let you know that we are enamoured of our puppy. 'That's Tempting' is quite an 'Allure,' so we've named her so. 'Temptation' was too long; 'Temper' was her mother; and the only other name we liked was our little "Red Devil." I called her Cutie-pa-tootie for two days.

We have already forgotten life sans puppy. The first night was a killer, with her whining and looking for her littermates, but every day--hour--she's getting better. Allure is already responding to crate training/house breaking, and she impresses us often with how smart she is. She's playful, affectionate and OURS, although she asserted her independance for the first time on Saturday when I was moving too much for her to sleep on. She got up and went over to the other end of the couch for a snuggle in between the cushions.

She is everything we wanted and more--LOTS more! You are not getting her back!
Thanks for 'Allure.' She is worth more than we can say.

Hi Kim and John,
Just wanted to let you know that Benson has settled in nicely. He's still working on the house training bit and getting better slowly. It seems he's already getting bigger and he's getting more hair and getting more
comfortable outside, was a little chilly first with all the west coast rain. He's signed up for puppy class to start after his second set of vaccines, and he's already met he 6 month old vizsla around the corner. That little guy has no training so hopefully Benson won't pick up too many bad habits from him.

We are absolutely loving him, he is just so darn adorable, and such acuddler, I think the lap is his absolute favourite place, although he's getting crate time and time on his blanket as well but I think there's no
other place he would rather be than the lap. He's eating like a pig, loves the Purina! He also has tons of energy, but does settle down.

Kim,
We named him Dexter and he is amazing. His personality is starting to shine and he is truly a beautiful dog. I cant believe how smart he is. He learned how to sit in two days and has only had maybe five accidents in the house since I have gotten him. He has learned where the treats are in the pantry and also has learned how to open the treat bag so we cant leave the pantry door open because he goes straight for them. He gets along so well with the other dogs. The bigger dogs keep taking away his chewy bones so now he has leaned how to defend them and even take them away from the bigger dogs. You can give them all the same thing but they always want what the other one has. We showed him how to use the dog door only once and he loves it. even if the door is open he will still go through the dog door. when he has a chew bone he knows that he cant fit with it through the door so he leaves it on one side and sticks his head back through to get it. He sleeps through the night under the covers by my feet with no problems. In the morning he likes to move up by your head and share your pillow. He is not timid at all. He jumps right in with the other dogs and plays. He is an amazing dog and so beautiful. He is such a great puppy! We love him very much and want to thank you picking him out for us.
Thank you,
alison

Dear Kim & John,
We hope you are enjoying a relaxing holiday season.
Girl tempted, now known as "Hazel", has settled in very nicely with us. She is a wonderful, energetic dog with a good sense of humour, and she gets along with everyone. It's great to have her with us and we thank you again for all your help.

Wishing you all the best for 2008.

Hi,

I thought I would drop you a note to give you an update on our puppy before
the Christmas Holidays. He is doing great, he started puppy training and
has completed his 3rd lesson. I'm amazed at how smart he is at such a
young age, he seems to be out performing many of the other dogs in the
class now that he has mastered Sit, Down, Stand, Look Here, Come, Take It,
and Leave It. Next class we will be taking all these commands to the next
level by increasing the time for each skill and the level of complexity.

His coat is beginning to change, its not so puppy soft anymore and its
starting to darken up. His tail went white which was a bit disconcerting,
however I think it is slowly turning dark so I'm hoping it was just the
puppy hairs dying off.

We've taken him to dog daycare a few times to socialize him with other dogs
and it has really helped put a stop to his nipping. The crate training is
fantastic! He is good for 8 hrs+ at night and during the day he's been
fine up to 4 hrs and hasn't made a mess yet. The toilet training was so
easy, I can't remember the last time he had an accident in the house.

Overall we are thrilled with him! I think we have some family members that
would now like a Vizsla as their dog so if that's what they decide we'll be
sure to send them your way.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year!
