Kim & John,

WOW what a year! We have had Indigo (Indi) just over a year now and what a busy year it has been. Indi has developed into an amazing member of our family that joins us on walks, hikes, snowshoeing, bike rides and trips to the cottage. She loves her family and is at her happiest when outside on an adventure with all of us. Indi whines when the boys go off to school and goes crazy at the door when they return home at the end of the day. Awesome to watch. Indi’s physical gifts, beyond her beautiful appearance which strangers are always commenting on, are her jumping and swimming abilities. She LOVES the water and fetching balls and sticks. No one can have a bath in the house without Indi throwing in at least one toy thinking its water play time. We have included some photos of Indi taken over the last year. Thank you for an amazing dog, we love her to bits.

I did not think it was possible to play fetch every second of the day but Indi has taught us different. We had hoped to be in contact with you sooner however the year has been a busy one and with Indi in our lives nothing is every boring.

Subject: Triton update

Hi Kim and John

Just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know Triton is doing fantastic. We recently got him neutered and I sent the paperwork to you in the mail this week. He is getting big (last time we weighed him he was just over 50 lbs at around 7 months.) Still very energetic and of course this keeps him looking lean and muscular. We had put him through one round of puppy training and he got a little bit out of it but seemed to be ahead of his whole class. The only problem was when he is around other dogs all he wants to do is play. The trainer called him smart but stubborn, which is absolutely true about him...he knows when he shouldn't be doing something but he still tests his limits to see what he can get away with...The best technique to stop him from doing something is a squirt bottle. I don't even have to squirt him, just lift it up and he stops whatever he is doing.

At around 5 months old he developed a bizarre fear of going outside in the dark. He is slowly getting over it but when he hears a noise when he is outside in the dark he bolts for the door to get inside where it is safe. With winter approaching we very well can't have a dog that is afraid of the dark considering we have very short days so I hope he gets over that soon. He had a blast camping this summer. We went several times and he just loved camping with his girlfriend Mila (French Mastiff puppy). He goes to doggy day care once a week still and loves it. He comes home exhausted and sleeps away the evening. He is very well socialized because of it :)

We read on the internet before we got Triton that Vizsla's are sometimes referred to as the velcro dog. This is so true. He never wants to be anywhere where you aren't. It is kind of flattering, however at the same time probably not ideal.
I enjoy to check back on your website once in a while to see any new pictures in the scrapbook. It amazes me how the all of the dogs in the pictures enjoy the same types of things as Triton.

I have attached a few newer pictures of Triton, Enjoy!
Cheers,
Terri Bishop

Subject: Riley update

Good morning Kim,
I just wanted to give you a quick update as to how Riley was doing. Well, all I have to say is WOW. He is great. What a character. We are going to puppy kindergarten and puppy confidence classes. This is a place where he excels. He loves all of the other dogs dogs and especially love the attention he gets. He loves coming to work with us. He gets to meet all the new people walking in and gets tons of attention from the workers. All in all he's doing great. I will attach a couple picture for you. Thanks again Kim and John!

Cheers,
Jasmine
