Hi Kim and John-
Attached you will find a few pictures of Seamus in his first photo shoot. He was recruited at the dog part to take part in it. I must say he did very well, he was the steadiest calmest contestant!
He was neutered last october and recovered very fast from his surgery. At the same time, they cut out a mass that had lodged on the tip of his ear (maybe a bug bite) but that has recovered well too. He is now tipping the scale at 67 pounds going on 68. He is lively, smart and every vizsla characteristic we had read about is there... He is cuddly, loves the warmth (yes, he sleeps under the covers), active, sensitive, and has never destroyed anything in the house which I hear is quite impressive from hearing from other dog owners. He gets plenty of exercise and sleeps pretty much the rest of the day.
We feed him orijen for adults and his coat is shiny and flamboyant. Let me say that he never goes unnoticed when we take him to the market (especially when he tries to steal tomatoes off the shelf... luckily it only happened once).
Thank you again for having given us such a perfect dog!
Marie and William

Hi Kim
Long time no talk! Things are great with Little Miss Lucy. What an amazing addition to our home. We love her so much and I can't wait to get home each day to see her! She certainly loves burning energy so our goal is to keep her tired all the time! ha! We walk her about 3 times a day with a long walk in the evening. She loves playing with Kevin too. He gets just as much fun out of it as she does.
I'm sending a few pictures of Lucy for you. I know I've been terrible at keeping in touch, I hope these help! Also, we finished a level 1 obedience training course with her this past Saturday. She learned lots and was the most 'attentive' student :)
Can I go ahead and fill out the transfer of ownership and send it off? I wasn't sure if I had to wait until after she is spayed? Please let me know.
Thank you so much for our little Lucy, she brightens my day!!
Take care,
Alyson & Kevin

Hi Kim and John,
As promised I am sending some pictures and a quick update on our newest family member. The new puppy now has a name, it was going to be Ruby but I got outvoted and lots of new names got thrown into the hat. So her name is now Arizona (her color matches the red rocks there) and I guess we have a bit of a theme going with the dog's names, Dakota and Arizona.
I few challenges so far but nothing we can't handle. She didn't want to eat when we brought her home or much the next day, but she seems to be getting her appetite back, although she is a "grazer" which makes it difficult to keep Dakota away from the leftovers. She tries occasionally but I catch her in time and she is learning not to go near Arizona's food dish.
She has had a couple of accidents in the house, even after doing her business outside so we will have to work on that for sure. I have taught her to sit and am trying to get her to sit and wait at the door instead of jumping up and trying to get out the door first, she is a very quick learner and the clicker training is going well. She has found her favorite spot on the couch , but still needs to learn to be invited up instead of taking a running leap at whoever
the unsuspecting person is who is sitting in her spot. I think I have a few bruises to show for it! I have been trying to teach her that the crate is not such a bad thing after all, once the lights go off at night she settles quickly
and I don't hear a peep until morning.
So we love her and are working hard to make her a great pet, thanks again for everything and we will keep in touch with updates on her progress.
Have a great time at the Vizsla Trials.
take care
Iris Ranieri

Hi John and Kim,
Gibson is doing great since I last talked to Kim. Your tips for feeding worked well. He loves to play fetch and go for long walks into the bush. We took him to Tremblant at Thanksgiving where we hiked many trails and he was able to run freely.
I have attached a picture of Gibson for you to see how much he has grown.
Thanks,
Chris and Terri

Hi Kim,
Just thought I 'd let you know Vegas handled the car ride real well.
He has already done his business in our back yard. Gone for his first walk - two houses one way and one the other. He certainly is relaxed in the house and is spoiled rotten -hahaha
Tonight he ate half his food in his crate but probably because everything is strange to him. He is drinking water too! He is a wonderful additon to our household.
Thanks again for all your insightful instructions.
