 Alex (Alexandra aka Minnie Mite).
Almost eight years later, she survived distemper, rattlesnake bite (very severe, Green Mohave), Valley Fever, and more. Now she is and continues to be as healthy as can be. We run her every day in the forest and she helps me rearrange the flowers in my garden, so she's quite active.

We love her to pieces and she knows it. Thanks for a great dog.

Hi Kim,

Maple is doing great and everyone absolutely adores her. I've been talking to more neighbors since Maple is added to our family than I ever had living in NW for 2 years and my gosh, she is such a chic magnet! I think she knows that she will be loved by pretty much every person who walks by us, I already feel like we won't have any problem with training her to like all different kinds of people.

Yes I think it's so cute of her to try to rush home and snuggle with us too. Even though I was tricked by her acting like she doesn't need to go and soon soiling in the house a few times. However, she is so much better at peeing and pooing outside except when it's dark and chilly outside. I bet it must be very scary for her. Today, I taught her how to sit with the help of a dog trainer whose class I am signing up for a puppy class and I think she got the most concept of it already. Now she will have to sit politey to get our attention rather than punching me in the face with her oversized paws. lol..

Speaking of pulling me back to the house, I wanted to walk one block with her as it is so nice and sunny, then she would refuse to walk every 5 steps and whimp! After luring her with a bully stick, it took us 30 min to go half the block and but it took us 30 sec to go back home because she ran at full speed. Now she passed out in my arm as I am writing this email right now( pic attached). I guess it took a lot out of her mentally..

Maple is awesome in the crate most of the times, she sleep for full 6 hours at night. She seemed to understand being sent to the crate means a relaxing time for her, so she doesn't mind it unless she was in the middle of having fun with me. We have driven a short distance every day with her in the crate and she either quietly chews her bully stick or falls asleep.

Oops I get really chatty when it comes to my little pooch, sorry for the longest email ever!
Talk to you soon again!
