Tuffy - Axel puppies (a previous litter)
Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment and are well socialized from birth. Our litters average between 8-10 pups. At
two days of age, their dew claws and tails are docked. At six weeks of age, each pup is tattoo'd. We prefer the method of tattooing
opposed to micro chipping because we feel that it is more permanent. The tattoo is done on the puppy's left flank or in the left ear,
and when correctly done, should never fade or become illegible. Each pup has its first set of shots before leaving us, which can be
anywhere from 7 to 10 weeks (depends on the well-being and physical characteristics of the pup).
Terms of Sale
Pet puppies are sold on a CKC Non-Breeding Agreement and a standard sale contract is signed the day you pick your pup up. We provide
written care instructions, a list of puppy needs and a lifetime of support and assistance. All pups, whether pet or breeding quality,
come with a written health guarantee for five years against all genetic defects. If required, we will provide a replacement puppy
from the next available litter.
We ask that all puppy owners keep in contact with us and let us know how your pup is developing.
We need feedback to be good breeders!
Shipping
Over the years, we have had to ship puppies to many loving homes. Onpoint puppies can be found in California, British Columbia, Newfoundland,
Manitoba, New Brunswick, Virginia, Prince Edward Island, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Michigan, Illinois, Idaho, Florida Texas, and Wisconsin
to name some areas. All were shipped without incident. It is no problem to get the pup across the Canada-US border (whether flying
or driving). All that is required is the pup's first set of shots.
References
References can be provided upon request from other Vizsla breeders in Canada and in the United States and from people who have chosen
an Onpoint bred dog. To learn more about what litters we have planned or have recently whelped, please visit our
Litter Update page.
We will NOT sell more than one puppy to a household at one time and certainly do not recommend two puppies at once (especially for
the novice owner). Also, we will NOT sell puppies for gifts and must speak directly with the purchaser to be sure that everyone understands
the commitment being made.
Explore the following suggested links to help you decide if a puppy is right for your family. We also recommend these links if
you have a young Vizsla or are waiting for your puppy to arrive. We cannot over emphasize how much thought and preparation should
go into this undertaking.
Upcoming Litters
There is usually a waiting list for an Onpoint bred pup. We breed first and foremost for ourselves. We will have many questions for
you to make sure that you understand the commitment you are making. We are very selective when we place our pups. We want to make
sure that your home is the right one for our pup and that our pup is right for you.
