Puppy Shopping List
72 Hutchison Rd. N, Mallorytown, Ontario, Canada, K0E 1R0
There is usually a waiting list for an Onpoint bred pup. We breed first and foremost for ourselves. We will have many questions for you to ensure you understand the commitment you are making. We are very selective when we place our pups. We want to make sure that your home is the right one for our pup and that our pup is right for you. For more about planned or recent litters, click on Litter Updates above.
Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment and are well socialized from birth. Our litters average between 8-10 pups. At two days of age, their dew claws and tails are docked. At six weeks of age, each pup is tattoo'd. The tattoo is done on the puppy's left flank or in the left ear, and when correctly done, should never fade or become illegible. Each pup has its first set of shots before leaving us, which can be anywhere from 7 to 8 weeks (depends on the well-being and physical characteristics of the pup).
Terms of Sale
Pet puppies are sold on a CKC Non-Breeding Agreement. A standard sale contract is signed the day you pick your pup up. We provide written care instructions, a list of puppy needs and a lifetime of support and assistance. All pups, whether pet or breeding quality, come with a written health guarantee for five years against all genetic defects. If required, we will provide a replacement puppy from the next available litter. We ask that all puppy owners keep in contact with us and let us know how your pup is developing. We need feedback to be good breeders!
We generally do not sell more than one puppy to a household at a time and certainly do not recommend two puppies at once, especially for the novice owner. Also, we will NOT sell puppies for gifts and must speak directly with the purchaser to be sure that everyone understands the commitment being made.
Over the years, we have shipped puppies to many loving homes. Onpoint puppies can be found in all the Canadian provinces & territories , and in the United States, for example, New York, California, Virginia, Michigan, North Dakota, Illinois, Idaho, Florida, Texas, Wisconsin and many others. All shipped were without incident. It is no problem to get the pup across the Canada-US border (whether flying or driving). All that is required is the pup's first set of shots and in some cases a health certificate.
